Every registered dental practice in England is automatically listed using NHS and CQC open data. However, this data can be incomplete or out of date. Claiming your listing lets you correct any inaccuracies, add richer information, respond to reviews, and receive a verified badge that builds patient trust.

We don't remove reviews simply because they're negative — honest feedback benefits everyone. However, we do remove reviews that violate our guidelines (e.g. spam, personal attacks, false claims). If you believe a review is inappropriate, you can flag it for our moderation team. You can also respond publicly to any review, which we strongly encourage.

We verify ownership through your practice email address (matching the domain on file), or by phone verification to the practice's listed number. This ensures only authorised personnel can manage a listing.

DentistFinder does not sell ranking positions. Search results are ordered by distance from the patient's postcode, and listing pages are not boosted by payment. Claimed listings may perform better in external search engines (Google, Bing) because they tend to have more complete, accurate, and frequently updated information — which search engines reward.
